Cable USB C to connect Ricoh camera to computer.
A computer with the Ricoh Theta desktop app installed

Sufficient battery charge on the camera
Step-by-Step Instructions #
Connect Your Camera
Use the cable to connect the Ricoh theta camera to your computer.
Ensure the camera is powered on and has at least 50% battery.
Open the Ricoh Theta App
Launch the Ricoh Theta desktop application on your computer.
Wait a few seconds for the app to detect the connected camera.
Initiate Firmware Update
In the application, go to the
Filemenu.Click
Firmware Update.
Follow the On-Screen Instructions
The app will guide you through the update process.
Do not disconnect the camera or power off your computer during this time.
Complete the Update
Once complete, your camera will restart automatically with the latest firmware installed
